Frequently asked questions

How do I make an appointment?

Please phone 5547 0222 for an appointment. Reception will make every effort to ensure you have the opportunity to request your regular doctor of choice. A standard consultation is for a 15 minute appointment. Longer appointments are available if you have several issues or a complex concern to discuss with your doctor. Please let us know when making the appointment. This assists with wait times for all patients. Emergencies will always be given priority.

Do you bulk bill?

Yes but only certain groups of patients . Speak to the staff for more information or visit Fees & charges page.

Are you available after hours?

If you require urgent medical care after hours, the practice phones are diverted to National Home Doctor Service who arrange for a doctor to visit you in your home. If you have a current Australian Medicare card, all consultation visits will be bulkbilled. They have extended the area boundaries and will cover all areas including Tamborine and Beaudesert.

National Home Doctor Service's number is 137425. Our doctors will do home visits for regular patients who because of their medical condition are unable to attend the surgery.

Can I get test results over the phone?

No results will be given out over the phone routinely by the reception staff. We would like all patients who have reports or results from tests to make an appointment with their doctor for these. Doctors will let staff know if they need to discuss your results. We also have a reminder system for routine health checks and treatments available. Please let our staff know if you would like a reminder.

I need an interpreter, can you help?

If you or a family member requires an interpreter service, we can organise this for you. Please let us know when you make the appointment.
